About Ashley
Ashley Farrell always loved to sing. Performing since a child at talents shows, church events, and in front of anyone who'd listen, she knew music was something she was born to do.
After high school, Ashley went off to the only college she applied to (because there was no where else she'd rather go), Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, she was blessed with the opportunity to perform with Christian recording artist Jeff Deyo. She also released her debut solo album, "Hear Me Out" before graduating with a BA in songwriting. It was during her time in Boston that she met her husband, Steve.
In the summer of 2005, she relocated to Nashville, leaving Steve in Boston while she pursued "the dream" (he would join her in TN after the wedding), playing local venues and co-writing. Just weeks later, she signed with SESAC as one of their writers.
Ashley describes herself a muscianary, combining her love of music, Jesus, and others. It's her heart's desire to be involved in ministries and other avenues, where she can use her gifts and be a light to those around her. Ashley is partnered with Mercy Ministries of America, a non-profit organization that provides a program for girls that are struggling with depression, self harm, teen pregnancy, and addictions. She also works as a Music Together teacher in the Boston area, spreading the Joy of Family Music. She also loves spending time with her son and sewing whenever she gets the chance.
