This is a song about being in a relationship that causes you to become someone other than yourself. It's hard, when our emotions get involved, to make wise decisions. Remember that you are one of a kind. You should never change who you are for the sake of winning someone over. If there's areas in your life that need changing, trust that God will reveal those things to you as you draw closer to Him. He knows the perfect person for you to spend the rest of your life with. So don't try to force relationships that are anything less than what God has for you. Be encouraged and ask God for the wisdom to know when it's time to let go.
