The clock is ticking, it's 12 past 10.
I feel I've lost my best friend.
Will someone please tell me when did I lose you?

Conversation's running dry.
I could say I love you just once more.
One more time.
But you say I love you's just a worn-out line.
Will someone please tell me why did I lose you?

We rushed into things too soon.
We shed our cocoons before we grew our wings.

I guess I pushed you away.
I told you things I should have waited to say.
I would have down things a different way.
If I knew there'd be a day.
A day I'd lose you.
